[Motorola] Quantar/Nucleus power supply help

Would anyone on the list help out if they figured out how to make a Nucleus
II Power supply work standalone, outside the station? It is one of the Onan
units very similar to the Quantar supply but can deliver more current (24.5A
at 28 V). I have a block diagram of a Quantar supply, and it does not look
like it needs anything from the station to start. 12V Startup voltage is
