Have you priced crystals lately? International wants about $ 20 each for
HT-220 crystals, which equates to $ 40 per channel.  I recently re-channeled
a 4 channel UHF HT-220 for a local police department, and the crystal bill
was $ 168.00.  There are HT-600's and Sabers on eBay which go for less,
hence the loss of interest in crystal radios except among the collectors.

That being said, the best bet for manuals is either MDM Radio or eBay.

You can still buy fresh, new batteries from many sources, they run about $
30 each for the omni size.

There is an HT-220 preservation society which has a website and publishes
newsletters.  Google should turn up all of these references.
