Dick,
The answer is yes- if you have the right model for VHF or UHF, but no as far
as 6m is concerned.
The HT1250, model AAH25CEF9AA5, will program to any frequency in the 35-50
MHz range but not into the 6m band. All high VHF (KD) models will program
to any frequency in the 136-174 MHz range, which includes the Amateur 2m
band. The UHF Range 1 (RD) models will program to any frequency in the
403-470 MHz range, which includes the Amateur 70cm band.

Subject: [Motorola] Motorola HT1250 - Amateur radio frequencies?
Howdy, all:
Looking for info on programming amateur radio freqs into HT1250 radios.
Does anyone know if it can be done?
I'm interested in the following bands:
50-54 MHz (6 meters)
144-148 MHz (2 meters)
430-450 MHz (70 cm)
Thanks,
Dick
