[Motorola] Board id- MDC Signalling...

AKA the old days, we called these horn/siren alert
boxes and they rested outside the radio and received
Sub-Audible tones to trigger. Sounds like with the description given 
(25-Pin port) it is likely the transmitter end of the system, in a base
radio or repeater cabinet. The bulk of the Mot mobiles and HT's since 
mid 90's have the horn alert circuits built in, and need only to be 
activated in the software/ribb to operate. (Each mobile/ht or 'group' 
(IE Swat team, etc.) is assigned a specific tone to activate.
