FL 01/82 - The pattern stored in the Memory Board EEPROM is incorrect.
Reprogram EEPROM from ARCHIVE file if available, or replace memory board.
Powering up the ignition only isn't indicative... FL 01/90 is a serial bus
failure - control head can't communicate with the radio deck. The
power-cycling is the radio retrying the serial bus.
Try reprogramming your radio from your archive file which you should've
stored safely on disk. You did back up your codeplug, right? :-)

I'm sorry...should have given yall more data....
when radio is attached with main power cord and ignition
sense...display says "self check" then displays FL 01/82 solidly.
Also xmit & busy are lit during self check then go out.
When only the ignition sense is connected alone, it displays "self
test" then displays 01/90 along with xmit and busy. but this cycles
on and off.
I hope this helps some. If you have any other questions or test you
want me to try..... just tell me.
Thanks a million,
Tom
"Not working right" isn't very descriptive. Tell us what the radio is
doing/not doing and perhaps we can fix it for you without even needing to
touch the radio. I've handled hundreds of Spectras, and know quite a bit
about the family.

Is there anyone in the Houston area that can take a look at my D44KMA7JA7AK
?
I think it might be a simple problem with either the main PWR cable
or the ignition sense/ speaker cable. I simply unplugged it and took
it out of the car while my car was at the airport. I didn't want
anyone stealing it. When I went to put it back in, well, it's just
not working right.
I called the local Motorola shop and they wanted a flat fee that was
$100 bucks more than one just like it that recently sold on E-bay.
I sure would appreciate your help and will, of course, pay you for your
time.
Thanks a million,
Tom
