Hey all on the list. I don't know if its entirely appropriate to post a want ad on here, so if isn't I apologize in advance. Its a long post, and I apologize for that also! Just trying to dig up some used radios at reasonable prices to outfit a couple hams.
Looking for a couple MT1000's.
Would like to get one high power VHF in the 136-151 or 146-162, the low split would be fine, I only need coverage from 144-148 for the 2m ham band. NO 2W radios wanted, 4/5w radio only.
UHF, MUST BE 438-470 split, others are useless for my needs. Again, NO 2W radios, 4/5w unit radio only.
They can be 8 or 16ch, doesn't matter which cause I can always hack em to 16ch. They can be without antennas and batteries or belt clips. I have spares from my HT600's. However, if you have a complete spare radio with antenna, or even one with antenna and battery and belt clip, then let me know a REASONABLE price.
Please, I don't make any money on these buggers, I purchase them for local clubs, clean and program them without making anything for labor and repairs, and pass them on to the club or new ham needing a good radio for local public service and weather related activities.
I got burned on a couple from eBay, so before I head there again I'm hoping the good ole boys here got some! They don't have to be immaculate, just intact and working, I would prefer if the cases are in good serviceable condition though. I already got ripped on some cracked ones and had to buy replacement cases for them.
Also looking for the following:
Syntor X9000 VHF at least 75-100W, would prefer a range 1 136-154Mhz radio, but a range 2 150-174 would also be ok, with at least the cable, control head, and mic. Speaker optional. I might also be interested in just a radio drawer if you don't have any accessories for it!!
Syntor X9000 UHF at least 75-100w, range 2 450-470, with at least the cable, control head, and mic. Speaker optional. Again I would also be interested in a radio drawer if you only have that!!
I have a spare Maxtrac UHF 40w 32ch 16pin that is currently tuned for operation down to 440Mhz that I might be swayed into trading for a UHF X9000. Heck they both go for about the same on eBay these days, LOL! If nothing else I want to at least trade it for a 75-100w drawer with cable and control head. I can always get a hold of a mic and speaker later.
Let's see, I also still have at least one each 2w VHF and UHF HT600's, 146-162 and 438-470, but I won't give any trades up too easy so don't make ridiculous offers please. And if trading I would prefer that I receive shipment before shipping the trades also, I have good feedback on under my callsign kb0nly on eBay, and I have traded and bought radios with members of the Batlabs Batboard. Pictures can be made available for the units I have to trade. I would also appreciate snap shots of the gear you have for sale/trade.
I'm not only looking for the prime examples that you want over $200-$300 for, I can't afford that anyway, just looking for good working serviceable units. So let me know what you have, and if you contact me regarding X9000's please try to include the radio chassis number, its located on the bottom of the radio on the corner with the main connector, front left corner when you flip it over.
Thanks and 73,
Scott, KBØNLY
