John,

The clock function will operate correctly only with certain combinations
of firmware and CPS.  Please advise what firmware version is loaded in
the radio, and what version of CPS or CPS+ you are using to program it. 
If you have any reason to believe the firmware version shown on the
label is incorrect, you can see it on the Radio Information screen when
you read the radio.
