Hi

The 12 keys on the front are for DTMF signaling, the same
thing as a telephone uses to make calls.  You can use them
by holding down the Push to Talk key and type in the number(s)
you wish to send.  This feature is for radio autopatch (telephone)
mode, repeater control or a VoIP ie echolink, IRLP etc.
