If this will help anyone!

I have a lot of 19 " racks of both varieties in our ware house for sale and
over 100 5 & 6 ft. Base Station Cabinets (with 19" rack configuration inside.
I also have a "LOT" of 35 & 43 Mhz Quintron/Glynayre base stations and parts
(of the tube final versions, along with a lot of "Big Pass Cavities for these
freq ranges). I also have a lot of 12 volt & 24 volt High amp rectifier power
supplies, in 19" racks (used on paging terminals etc.)

Contact me at my email address or by phone if you need some.

The Motorola racks are not standard 19" racks.
Although they are the same width, Motorola drilled
holes evenly along the rails. A "true" 19" rack has
the holes grouped together with varying spacing
between the holes.

You cannot always get "true" rack panels to "match up"
(that is not have gaps between them) when using a
Motorola type of rack. Conversely, Motorola equipment
will not always "match up" when using a "true" rack.

Both 19" and 23" wide racks are used throughout the
computer industry especially in large equipment rooms.
You can often get a "good deal" on used racks from
used computer dealers.
