[Motorola] Error code 100 upon reading codeplug

I looked it up in the manual and unfortunately the last error code listed is
58.  Below that it says "For any other error code, contact your authorized
Motorola service person or field service representative"

Sorry, I tried.  Experience cannot tell me the answer either, i've never had
that error before.  Where or at what point does it give you the error?
Maybe we can figure it out despite the manual's suggestion.  It's not junk
no matter what, parts can always be replaced.
