[Motorola] XTS-3000 Portable Problems?

I am noticing that an unusual amount of our XTS3000 portables develop the
same problem-
Scratching and rumbling sounds in the (analog) transmitted audio, over any
channel.
The noise is intermittent, but is sometimes related to torque or pressure on
the case.

The model is H09SDF9PW7BN, 4/5 watt, UHF, 480-512 MHz split.

My question:
Are any of you experiencing these problems in your XTS3000 portables and is
Motorola 
doing anything in the way of recalls, service bulletins, etc- ?
