The battery you're looking for is NNTN4503AR. I can assure you this part is
correct - I have 3 HT1550XLSs for personal use, all are equipped with FPP
batteries. These batteries are distinctive as the battery label is red and
has "FPP USE ONLY" written on it.
Even with the FPP battery, you will still need to enable Edit Mode as a
menu item, and editing capability on a per-conventional-personality basis.
FPP doesn't let you do anything to LTR systems.
In regards to All-Comm, I will say that $100 is pretty damn pricey for the
battery.
