Good Day Gentlemen,
In fact the Dispatcher series of
radios, common to cabs and tow-trucks in the 60's,
came in a number of configurations. At present I have
refurbished one for 10 metres on 29.6 MC. In rare
circumstances these could be ordered with the extender
(SP) option, although mine isn't equipped with one.
Another on 6 Metres at 52.525 MC of course. And one
on 2 Metres, a 4 channel model with the full xmt/rec
P/L including the reverse burst. The only vacancy is
the UHF version, which I have seen on many occasion
but failed to pick up. The 150/450 versions used the
same helical front end as the Motrac series. These
weren't a popular radio as they were hybrids, but they
were cheaper than the Motrac series, and easier to
transfer from one vehicle to another as they were
"dash-mount". At this point, if I can't locate a
D43CMT3100, I'd settle for a D43CMT1100 and throw a
Com-Spec P/L board in for good measure.
Thanks for taking the time to respond.
73,
Cliff
