[Motorola] Vehicle Adapter for HT1250

I need to install a vehicle adapter for an HT1250 hand held radio in a car.  
The adapter part number is AAEN1007B.  I haven't received the adapter yet, so 
if anyone has done a similar installation I have a couple of questions.  First; 
it doesn't come with a speaker, so is there a recommended speaker, either 
Motorola or other.  Second; I need to connect it to another device that will 
provide the transmit audio to the radio via the adapter, receive audio from the 
radio via the adapter, and provide PTT to the radio via the adapter.  Is there 
any type of connector on the vehicle adapter that might lend itself to be 
connected to an external device for audio and PTT?
