[Motorola] SABER-2 to SABER-3 Conversion?

While we're on the Saber upgrade subject:

I currently have a Saber 2R (Ruggedized) with the 2K memory board. What 
would be required to upgrade this radio to 8K (keeping it in the ruggedized 
chassis, etc.)? Just the 8K display board REX4204, or anything else?
