[Motorola] Motorola Cell phone question

Hi all:

I have a strange question bordering off-topic; please bear with me. It =
is Motorola radio related in a way.

I have a Motorola V60t digital cellular phone on the Cingular system. =
While my home is only about 2000ft from the tower, I get little to no =
signal in the summer months and marginal (at best) winter. I've tried =
using a 7 db gain omni directional on a mag mount via the external ant =
adapter but am probably losing most of the signal through the RG-59u, =
and getting no-where.  Is there any way to interface a digital phone =
like this through one of the older 3w mobile kits and have it work at =
home? Any suggestions would be appreciated.=20
