The brand name was listed in the original message and
is "Hobby House".  It is made in China.  The tips
shouldn't be any problem since I have seen them used
in US manufactured irons.  They are held in by a
set-screw.

I don't recommend using it on CMOS, etc.  But on older
equipment and connectors it will work fine.
