disgusting prices and sign their life away for it but what about Lab RSS?

The only reason I get upset about the whole piracy thing is two fold. One is
I know what the CPS costs as I have paid for it out of my own pocket and two
is it keeps the stolen radios down to a dull roar at least around here. We
look for stolens by comparing serials to a ongoing database. Even altered
radios may still have the OEM serial in the codeplug.
Now let me ask you this; would you want RSS that may be infected with a
virus or worse yet crash prone leaving you with a brain dead radio? No
thanks for me. Would you like this forum shut down because someone was
trading or offering pirated copies of RSS? doubt it.
I bought and paid for my RSS out of my own pocket and signed the long user
agreement with my own sweat. It irritates me when I spend several hundred
dollars for RSS only to find it in pirate form on the internet. Im not here
to play Motorola RSS cop but I will stand up for what I was brought up on
and that is honesty.

Im not accusing anyone of pirating software here nor am I saying two wrongs
make it right. Im simply pointing out that those who use pirated copies not
only subject themselves to killing a radio at the very least. I speak from
experience here as I was subject to review by Motorola several years back
and I do know what its about. I will agree that Motorola has become somewhat
of a monster similar to Microsoft and they do have the pockets for the
expensive lawyers.

If I came across as an accuser that was not my intent and if I did come
across as such Im sorry. All I ask is you be careful in how you procure your
software and use it. What you do in your home is your business and I could
care less. Just dont get bitten in the process.
