Eric and Randy,

The Tone Remote Adapter is Motorola #TNA200 or L3151A and the cable is
CDN6660A.

The cable says that it is for a RPG model that is mentioned later in the
document as for a Maxtrac 300, GM300 M1125 and SM50/120. NO mention of a
CDM750.

It sux that a Motorola dealer sold us a rig that requires an external
relay to operate. I would expect any radio from any manufacturer to
operate without such a quirk.

Now with an external relay added I'm still having trouble. I connected
the relay with one side + and the other looking for a logic ground from
radio Pin # 4 (on PL detect) OR adapter Pin # 7 (on console Monitor
command). The adapters PL Monitor provides a closure between it's Pin#
7 and Pin# 14 (GND)
I have both picking up the relay as expected but when radio is connected
to adapter I have a sneak circuit that keeps the relay picked up. Oh
Yes, I did add blocking diodes on each path !!!!!!

Thanks guys ! Whatever help that you may give me is appreciated !
