Glenn: The MICOR has a variable squelch tail, the legenth of which was
determined by signal strgenth. A weak signal would have a long tail and a
strong signal would hardly have any. Try a sig gen with a really strong
signal and see if the tail is short. I do not know if the long tail can be
disabled.

Also, FYI: Reverse burst logic is on PL board. DPL did not have reverse
burst, but it did have a short sine wave transmitted at unkey that shut down
the decoder similar to reverse burst.--Mike, WV2ZOW
