ok, i guess its normal...I'll have to play with tuning it a little and see 
what sort of results i can get in the amateur band....first thing 
first....now i need to figure out where it's receiving :)  (It was sitting 
at the local Motorola shop for about a year...traded him a MICOR/MOTRAN 
test panel for him re tuning this thing...i think i got ripped off, he 
claimed he couldn't find where it was transmitting)
