[Motorola] GM300-Converting from trunking back to conventional-looking for help.

    Hello. 
    I ended up with a trunking GM300 as part of an equipment trade. It is a  
M44GMC09C1AA with an HLN 8070D logic board. It took me a copule of years to 
find a matching conventional radio that we could copy its 27C256 Eprom from.
MY PROBLEM:my standard software will not initialize the logic board - it says 
the model# is not supported.
Can anyone out there talk me through this process.I am not real familiar with 
all the ins and outs here.
