Hi Michael:
First, here is the exact Motorola part number for the TDN8310A and other
DTMF type mics: Instruction Manual#68R80309C84-C series 11/94. Let me scan
the page that shows the exact location for a specific jumper [JU-3] which
determines a "timed" DTMF event or a "continuous" DTMF tone sequence. We
cannot include attachments in this email so I will send the file to your
email address direct. Hope this helps. Our repeater group Users [Pima Radio
Network] use the same 8310A mic on our Maxtrac "modified" 900 mhz mobile
rigs and I personally changed the jumpers on all our microphones. FYI: for
a timed DTMF event jumper goes to position *B*. For continuous DTMF the
jumper goes to position *A*.
Standby.....let me go to the "family" PC station and scan the page.
