Bruno,
First, ensure that your radio has firmware R05.03.00 or newer.
Second, on the Signaling/Quik-Call II System/Basic tab, select call
format A-B. On the Call Alert/Sel Call tab, select call alert w/voice.
On the Individual ID Tones tab, enter the A and B tones, respectively.
These must be EXACT. Large systems may have group and/or master call
coding, but I'll stick with basics.
Third, on the Conventional Personality that you want to monitor for
QC-II calls, go to the Signaling tab/ RX System, select Quik-Call II-1.
There are many options for how to mute, how to respond to a call, and
whether or not to expect the PL tone to be present (a system that mixes
paging with voice dispatch will disable PL during paging). But the
above will get you started.
