[Motorola] Any Quantar Gurus?

I'm looking for some assistance with the following Quantar repeater issues:

1.	Backplane Plug #17- Pins 7 and 11 are used to shut down repeater TX
(I use outboard control), but when the repeater is programmed
	for Astro CAI Capable, I lose this feature (wildcard programming
info/manual are no help).

2.	I would like to connect a remote receiver (2175/1950 standard tone
controlled line) to this in-cabinet repeater and have a comparator of sorts.
	I heard you could get around having to use an Astro/Spectra-Tac or
other comparator between the remote receivers line and repeater and could
get
	the repeater to vote between the local receiver and the line?

3.	Other, better suggestions for remote controlling the repeater- and
will I need the SAM module?
