I don't know, I just happened to find the Expo on a pile of junk before my
PD moved to 800 MHz trunking, and the head tech had been told to find new
homes for all the old equipment a few months before, and the chief of
police let me have this Expo when from seeing the ID number I recognized
it had being used by my grandfather. It was his last mobile/portable radio
that he used from 1986 to 1993. I can remember finding it when I was
nine, and his response was "I don't want you monkeying with that, its not
a toy." I guess back then it cost his department about $1500 I played
with it off and on over the years, but I was always in favor of him getting
a mobile in his car with more power, and an outside antenna like what he
had from 1971-85. My intent when I found the Expo was to have it
converted to 2-meters, but I am having no luck with finding anyone who
knows anything about it, and I don't know where to find extra parts IE
batteries and chargers and adapters or anything like that myself.
