You may need to run it "directly" under Win 98's DOS.
In some computers, if you try and run RSS under an icon it may 
act up.  My cure in the Compaq was to run an old program called 
MainMenu, DOS based.  MainMenu is what pops up each time the
PC starts- and Win98 is also accessed under this menu.
This goes "direct" to DOS.
If you don't have MainMenu, you have to get to C: drive
before Win98 starts.
These are the DOS versions of Quantar, Spectra, Saber, Astro Spectra
XTS3000, MT2000, EX500.  
Mileage may vary.....

Well, I'm specifically looking for the Astro software for the Spectraand
things like that.  Is there anything I need to swtch out for with the
software or Windows?
