[Motorola] 146.05 default frequency?

I can go one further on this one!

We had a customer that was within 1/2 miles of a Motorola factory.  They called 
to complain that they were receiving intermittent interference on their 
frequency and could I help eliminate it for them?

I listened to their base station and heard a fairly strong signal with someone 
whistling a steady tone.  (sound familiar to any of you bench techs??)

One a hunch, I called the production supervisor and gave him the frequency in 
question.  He verified that the customer's frequency AND PL tone were being 
used on one of the production lines for alignment!!!  When asked why and how, 
he couldn't answer.  The customer reported similar interference for years but 
had just recently got tired of it.

The "test" frequency was changed within a couple of weeks.
