I am not sure about the Syntor.

But, check the stamped number on the chassis under the lid of the
Mitrek just inside where the handle is should be something like:
"HUB1061CPR" or similar.  If it has a "2" like HUB1062CPR then
is is probably the high split, rated for 45-54MHz.  A HUB1061 is a
low-split and will not tune into 6-meters but, will do nicely on 10m.
That's why buying one on e-pay to  put on 6-meters can be a big
gamble is the seller doesn't know what he really has....
