Only Win software that Im aware of is for the professional series of
radios, all others are DOS based and ultra stable. You might want to
check out the batlabs page for specific codeplug hacks. Spectras will
need alot more doctoring to get them to slide down if the radio is far
outside the ham bands. Saber should rubber down with little trouble if
the VCO is stable at its lowest factory freq eg, 150.800. I run a Saber-3
on VHF in XL secure at 146.640 with no problems in secure mode for our
weekend motorola ragchew net along with an asshole-spectra in the truck
and its rock solid.
If anyone here is in the South MPLS area and can run DES, keyload
1466400146040 into your radio with the remaining digits all zeros and try
a check in on saturday nights around 1900 central.
