[Motorola] HT-1000 transmission problem

Hi everyone, earlier today I was sorting through some old radios that I am
planning on unloading down at Dayton this year, and I have  noticed a
problem with an HT-1000.  I can transmit on it, and the MDC ID is
transmitted, but no audio.  Is there a solution something I could do?  
	I also am wondering about  a Motorola Consol, and I had trouble
trying to find a model  name for this consol, but it is the red 8 channel
consol with the 8 buttons running horizontally to change channels.  It is
from about 1986, at least that is when this public safety department got
it.  
  Any help with this would be appreciated, and thanks in advance.
