[Morrow] two questions

Okay, maybe three questions.
First, does anyone have a good place or supplier for matching the
cabinet paint on the MB-6 and MB-565 series? I would like to respray
mine at some point and it would be nice to find a close match. I suppose
I could have my local body shop mix up a custom match for me, but if
anyone has found a close match among the off-the-shelf spray paints, I'm
all ears.
Second question.. does anyone know why they went with two different
meter schemes in the MB-6 and MB-565? Receiver is light letters on a
dark background, which I find quite pleasing, and I'm just wondering why
the MB-565 transmitter is dark letters on a light background. Seems
oddly incongruous somehow, since Ray seemed to think of everything else
in these radios.
Last question.. anybody have any idea how many units were produced? Are
we talking hundreds, or tens of units?
Thanks in advance,
Bob W1ICW
P.S. I hope to have my twins on the air shortly. Currently awaiting some
multi-conductor cable to arrive so I can build up power supply cables.
The receiver is completely recapped and fully aligned. RTS-600S power
supply recapped, MB-565 transmitter is also recapped and three tubes
replaced; just need the cable so I can start alignment on the TX and
away I go !
