[Morrow] MB-560 Mod Transformer?

An old friend popped up and offered me a MB-560 for a very reasonable
price.  It is missing the dial scale on the window and the mod
transformer.  He says it is otherwise clean and powers up.

Anyone aware of a direct sub for the mod transformer?

Or, even better, anyone modified one of these for DSB?  (I am guessing a
direct match mod transformer is impossible and hacking the rig for a
different one a hassle -- going DSB might be an equal or lesser task --
yes, no, maybe ... Morrow heresy?)

I am getting an unmodified pair, so that would give me AM/CW TX and
AM/CW/SSB RX.  If I mod this one for DSB then I have a real neat working
classic HF mobile/base setup!

Oh, one other question, please?  Anyone aware of a good source of a
DC-DC converter suitable to the MB5/MB-560 RX/TX pair?
