[MohawkARC] Notes from club meeting

Hi everyone,

It was good to see many of you at last night's club meeting and it was
great to be in the new space at the Gardner Police Headquarters. Thank you
Paul, W1SEX for arranging that.

Here are just a few notes and information with last night's meeting.

-- Special Event Station at Relay for Life

We need lots of volunteers for setup and operating the special event
station. An online signup sheet has been started at Signup Genius. The link

-- SKYWARN

There will be a SKYWARN training coming up next week in Maynard, MA.
Details below.

More SKYWARN info at www.wx1box.org. And even if you are not a trained
SKYWARN spotter it is important to assist the National Weather Service when
they call for severe weather reports from our area.

-- Field Day

Looks like we are going to run a 4 Alpha station this year by utilizing the
GOTA (Get On The Air) station as a normal station when not in use for GOTA.
We'll have to work out the logistics of that during our next Field Day
planning meeting on June 8th. That said, we will need plenty of help and
operators this year. We will likely set up another online signup page for
Field Day stuff. Stay tuned.
