Some people have asked for this info so thought I'd just sent it out to the whole list.

SAMPLE EXCHANGE:
Them: CQ Field Day CQ Field Day, Kilo 5 Mike Golf.
Us: November 1 Whiskey Whiskey.
Them: November 1 Whiskey Whiskey 2 Alpha West Texas, Whiskey Tango X-Ray.
Us: Thank you. 4 Alpha Western Mass, Whiskey Mike Alpha.

We would type in the log: K5MG 2A WTX

This is a typical exchange. For us calling CQ just reverse the roles. You might also hear some other various styles of giving out the exchange like "Please copy 2 Alpha West Texas" or "You're 2 Alpha West Texas" That's fine too, but I prefer to leave out the extra words and save time/my voice.

SCORING:
We get 1 point for every sideband QSO and 2 points for every digital/CQ QSO. Then we multiply this by a power multiplier of 2 since we're running 100 watts. And finally we add in the bonus points.

GOTA SCORING:
GOTA station contacts will be sideband and count as 1 point each for our total count (maximum of 500 total contacts on the GOTA station). Each different operator of the GOTA station can earn up to 100 bonus points in increments of 20 bonus points after the complete of each set of 20 contacts. (No partial credit, has to be in increments of 20) Once a GOTA operator has maxed out their bonus points they can still continue to make contacts to add to the clubs total!!!

PREVIOUS YEAR'S RESULTS:
