Shirley (KC1DAJ) has graciously agreed to host the club cookout at her QTH
on the shores of Lake Wampanoag. The cookout will be held as this month's
club meeting on August 26th. We will push the time up to 6:00 PM. We will
need to coordinate via this email thread on who is attending and what you
can bring.

We will be looking for items like hamburgers, turkey burgers, hot dogs,
rolls, potato or pasta salad, chips, beverages, paper plates, utensils,
grill, (Shirley does have a Webber charcoal grill on site) etc.

Please reply all to this email if you will be attending and what you are
able to bring.

We may be late.  Might have to work overtime that day, not sure yet. One of
our international customers is coming for 2 weeks starting on the 24th, so

Hi everyone,

 

For those that attended the meeting/picnic this evening I hope you had as
good a time as I did.  Thank you Shirley for being the hostess with the
mostess.

 

As mentioned at the picnic, I have completed the hands-on club activity
which involves actually building an inductor an capacitor.  The plan is for
you to download and read the document at the link below, follow the
instructions in the document then bring your inductor and capacitor to the
September meeting.  I will provide an oscilloscope, RF generator and
spectrum analyzer to show the resonate frequency of your components.

Greetings, I wish to extend an invitation to the Mohawk Club to attend our
Montachusett meeting on Wednesday, September 9th at 1930 at the Lunenburg
Public Library. We are going to recap Field Day and our guest will be our
Division Leader. Tom Freneye, K1KI. I would imagine the  topic will be an
informational and Q&A session as he likes to hear about what the clubs are
doing and share news about what the ARRL is up to.
