> The Heartbreak Hill Half & Festival: http://rw.runnersworld.com/hhhalf/ is coming up soon, and we’re still looking for plenty of hams to join the team and help us support medical communications. This is a new event this year, which means our work will be important to smooth over the little unexpected issues that pop up. We need volunteers for Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8. Most people are signing up for just one day, and that’s a great help, so don’t feel pressured to work the whole weekend. All events start at 7:30 AM at Boston College in Newton. Plan to get there a little early for check-in, and leave around noon.

> The only equipment you need is a dual band (2m and 70cm) handheld radio. Please sign up to volunteer by sending me the following:
>
> Your call sign, full name, and name you prefer on the air
> Which day(s) you can volunteer
> Your cell phone number (if you have one), plus any other numbers where you prefer to be reached leading up to the event
> The transmit band(s) of your radio(s)
> Your shirt size
> Do you have any needs or requests we should consider when making your assignment?
> If you have questions about this event, please get in touch by e-mail: ab1rl at arrl.net or phone (859) 466 5915.
