[MohawkARC] Meeting 5/23

At tonight's meeting a lot of preparation work took place for Field Day.  Several lengths of coax were cut and connectors soldered on the ends.  Dipoles were made for 80, 40, and 15 meters.  Locations for the antennas was also discussed.  We are also all set with rebar to use for our guy wire stakes.

Nominations were held for next year's officers and the following people have been nominated.  Elections will take place at the June meeting.

(There were no nominations for Secretary or Treasurer) - Deb and Lynda are you interested in these positions again?

The club voted to spend up to $125 on a porta potty for Field Day.

The next meeting will be back at the Gardner EOC at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20th.  This meeting is one week earlier than usual so that we could have one more meeting before Field Day.

Finally, if you were not at the meeting tonight and are planning on being involved with Field Day please reply back to this e-mail so that I have a better idea of how many people we will have.
