[MohawkARC] October Meeting 10/26 - DX Labs Suite

Greetings!

The October meeting of the Mohawk Amateur Radio Club will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26th at the South Gardner Fire Station/EOC.  The guest speaker will be Bob Montemerlo (KB1JZU).  Bob is an avid DXer and will be giving a PowerPoint presentation on DX Labs Suite which is a series of free and useful computer programs to help chasing and logging DX. I saw Bob give his DX Labs presentation a couple of years ago at the Fitchburg Club and it is very informative and exciting.  Let's make sure he has a good size audience to present to.  The turnout at last month's meeting was very encouraging, and I hope meeting attendance continues to grow.  Again, please consider inviting or bringing a local ham to the meeting who hasn't been before or for a while.  We need to get more people involved.  

Finally, if you haven't been on HF lately and are able to I suggest you check out 10 meters.  It is starting to really open up!  Speaking of 10 meters, don't forget about the new net that Bill (N1UZ) mentioned at our last meeting.  28.345 at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday nights.
