[MohawkARC] Monthly RACES Drill

Please don't forget the RACES drill tomorrow night.  We will be hosting the
drill at the Gardner EOC.  Deb and Norm have agreed to open the EOC and run
the drill from there.  My work schedule will not allow me to participate. 

 

Also, all CERT members, hams or not are encouraged to come down and
participate.

Tomorrow, Monday night, is the monthly Massachusetts RACES Drill.

Region 3 will be operating on it's normal RACES frequencies (see below).

                6:45PM     146.49 - RACES Drill - Southwick Area
                6:45PM       3.943   Statewide Net - Monitor only, Region 3
HF Antenna still down
                7:00PM    146.910 - Berkshire County
                7:15PM    146.970 - Southern Worcester County
                7:30PM    146.940 - Hampden/Hampshire County
                7:45PM    146.985 - Franklin County

We will also be monitoring the regular MEMA channels.

PS - Don't forget that if you "Roger" the state RACES message as a RACES
station, you need 
to deliver the message to the Emergency Management Director and the generate
a message 
identifying when you delivered the state RACES message and send your message
to WC1MA 
by radio. If you need assistance in preparing your message or in sending it
to WC1MA, please
contact me or one of the Region 3 RACES operators.



Also if you have Winlink capablility, I'd appreciate an email indicating
your winlink capability and 
method of accessing Winlink (Internet, VHF, HF Winmor, HF Pactor 3, HF
Pactor 2 &/or HF 
Pactor 1. All Winlink email messages will be acknowledged. Don't forget that
the subject line 
should start   //WL2K. The Region 3 Winlink email address is our RACES call
sign, 
WC1MAC (WC1MAC at winlink.org).
