  Just wanted to mention this event... these aren't the "near-space" balloons
that you've heard me talk about, but I believe they're manned passenger balloons!

  Anyway, at the time I posted this, K5GAS-3 was SW of Wichita at the KS/OK
state line (the closest to us at the moment), K5GAS-4 was between Garden City
and Dodge City, KS, and K5GAS-8 was just east of the 3-state corner of Kansas,
Colorado, and Nebraska. The first one might actually go over Joplin Thursday morning,
all heading east, so if you have any APRS equipment, start it up!
