But something is not right. I think when I first purchased this truck I connected my IC 7000 video out cable to the yellow RCA input jack atop the dash and still did not get a picture. And the vehicle was in park. My trucks book states that for a I Phone one must order a special cable from Apple that has both a RCA input connector and a USB connector. I am now wondering if I need a special cable ? And yes , I did the scroll down and selected AV In and the proper screen comes up showing the three RCA phono cables on the LCD . But when I get no video from my IC 7000. Hopefully I will find someone that uses the video input of a Ford Super Duty and also uses a Icom IC 7000 to let me know if the one video cable is all I need. My Ford book states if one plans on using a I Phone with the trucks LCD and audio system a special cable must be ordered from Apple. It states that this cable has a RCA jack and a USB jack attached. With that Im out of luck because there is no USB input on my Icom IC 7000 for video out. Just one of the small phono plugs. I must find someone that has successfully installed a IC 7000 in a Ford Super Duty and utilized the trucks LCD for the radios display. Im thinking when I first bought the truck I connected the radios video output to the trucks video input jack and still did not get a picture even while it was in park. So maybe a special cable is needed where to get a video signal the RCA video input jack must be connected with the USB connection . All my LCD does is blink about once every two seconds when only the RCA video input is connected to the 7000.
