It was or is a brand name or a trade mark of some kind for a HAM
stick with a 6 to 8 inch long (black heat shrunk) coil and ~3 foot whip
with the 3/8"-32, less efficient, but fully usable alternative to the 7
foot long HAM sticks, but the "Slim Jim" would remain on the vehicle at
speed on one 5" magnet, available only in 10, 6 and 2 meters as far as I
know. (all very nice quality! and reasonable)
The 2 meter was a 4-5" coil and a 5/8 wl whip, I have the 10 and 6 and I
use the 10 meters to copy cw on 40 meters all of the time, I do not have
the 2 meter version, but I use a 2 meter+440 on an NMO mount.
