Interesting about Hustler dropping the clutch system. Worked well with
the rare stickiness that is fixed with a bit of cleaning / lubrication.
Or using a pair of pliers where the gap in the pliers fits around the
whip and then you can tap upwards on the ball to free it up. Then I
clean off the whip and blow out the clutch area and all is well again.
But this has been a rare requirement.

Hey Earl, just found on the DX Engineering web site Clutch Sleeves and
Clutch Nuts for a whole .95 cents each. Wonder if the set screw version
can be retro fitted? Their site suggests not, but we are a can do bunch

Have more concern with the heat shrink around the full surface area of
the coil. It wasnt always full length and the top or bottom would seep
moisture up inside. Some are rather ragged to. Though they cleaned up
fairly well, am thinking about wanting to take the existing old heat
shrink off, clean up the inside, and put new sleeves on and seal the top
edge, leaving the lower edge to drain.

Anyone know if they have replacement heat shrink for the 1kw and 400
watt pep versions? Have submitted my question about this to DX Engineering.
