I'll drink to that.  I have the same antenna mounted on my Dodge Grand
Caravan for several years.
I mounted it down on the receiver hitch and had some reservations about that

location.  It works so well in that location I have really wanted find how
it would
work in some other place on the van.  I guess, if it ain't broke, don't fix
it.

In my 41 years as a Ham I have used nearly every mobile HF antenna ever
made.
My Hi Sierra 1800 is by far the best performer...IMHO I currently have 2 of
them ...One on the motor home and one on my 2003 Trailblazer
