[Mobile-Portable] UHF/VHF antennas in roof of newer pickup trucks

Tired of running a mag-mounted antenna. Truck is a 2009 Dodge RAM 1500 Quad 
cab. This puppy has air bags all around the perimeter of the roof (side 
curtain airbags). I want to drill the roof near the center, but only a few 
inches forward of the rear brake light. Been running Dodges for years. This 
has always worked in the past. I have never had one with all these airbags. 
How would you route the feed line? Anyone have any experience here?
