Now that is good news indeed. Will be interested in that screw driver
unit when it is out David.
West Mountain Radio introduced a screwdriver tuner, TargeTuner, too soon
and had to pull them back. Their next improved version is due out around
the first of March.

Though I will always keep my Turbo Tuner as it works so well for my
needs / equipment, I do have another need that the Turbo Tuner gets in
the way of.
SkyCommand
SkyCommand requires the Kenwood HF radio to have its serial port
connected to the Kenwood Dual Bander in order to do SkyCommand. That is
how I do HF on my HT. But the Turbo Tuner also uses the serial port, and
I dont have a way in SkyCommand to trigger the tune mode via the HT. May
try a serial port splitter some time as a test .... but ...
Am looking for another screw driver tuner that doesnt use the TS-480HX
serial port so I can auto tune the screw driver antenna with a A.M.
carrier transmission when I change bands, then switch back to side band
as needed.
The TargeTuner might do the trick, and maybe so will "Larry's Antennas".
I will have to contact him and see what circumstances his system might
interest me.
Thanks for sharing that info David.
