[Mobile-Portable] Winter Prep, and HF Mobile Freqs?

Sorry to hear about the death in the family, Earl. I think that garage
doors should rightfully be designed with antenna slots like hangars have slots
for airplane rudders. Let's petition the FCC, when they're open for
business again, for a requirement that garage door companies address this most
pressing issue of mobile antenna clearance. :-) :-)

Best,

I started working on my HF Mobile station just a few days ago by driving
into the garage without taking the antenna off! I broke one of the
vertical supports inside my Texas Bugcatcher coil. I just hung it in the
garage while I wonder how to repair it.
