Thank you Jim for your reply. The N2VZ Turbo Tuner is one that I am currently looking at, and thanks for your endorsement of it. I see mostly positive reviews on eHam.net, but also a few negative ones. I suspect some of the negative ones may come from folks who had a bad antenna installations to begin with and the controller had no chance. My installation works and would benefit from an auto tuner. My rig is a Kenwood TS-440SAT so the "Better RF Tuner" is out of the question. The antenna is installed on the ladder assembly on a Class A Motorhome RV.
