There are some relatively fast acting circuit breakers, TenTec for
example used to sell an AirPax "magnetic" Circuit breaker that was only
slightly slower than a fast blow fuse. How do I know, I tested it with
25 amp loads with the fuse in the negative lead and the AirPax in the
positive. It blew every time, including one time that the fuse didn't.
I don't know where to get another, but if I see one, I'm buying it.
